Common Questions:
“Could Acupuncture work for me?”
Acupuncture helps the body heal itself by making sure the body’s energy pathways are clear and functioning properly and it really can deliver life-changing results.
“How can I prepare for the treatment?”
I would like to suggest to my patients:
Bring a list of all your current medications and supplements.
No eating and drinking 30 minutes before the appointment.
Opt for Loose-Fitting, comfortable clothing that can be rolled up or maneuvered.
“How many sessions will I need?”
When you first start the Traditional Chinese Medicine healing journey, I would like to advise you to have at least 5 weekly treatments to see how effective it works on you.
“How long is a session?”
The initial consultation and treatment will be approximately 1.5 hours, every follow up treatment will be around an hour.
“Will it hurt?”
No, although some people are more sensitive than others and may initially have a little discomfort for a few seconds when inserting the very fine needle into the skin. The acupuncture needles are much much finer than the needles we have for Vaccinations and Blood tests.
“Can I cancel my appointment anytime?”
48 hours notice is required for cancellation of an appointment otherwise half of the fee charge will still apply.
